Pacific Marine Credit Union is a state chartered credit union with more
than $465 million in assets, serving more than 71,100 members. PMCU was
chartered in 1952, headquartered out of MCB Camp Pendleton, California.
The credit union serves military and civilian personnel working on board
MCB Camp Pendleton, MAGTFTC Twentynine Palms, MCRD San Diego, MCLB Barstow,
as well as persons who live, work, or worship in the San Diego, San
Bernardino and Riverside counties. A new branch will be opened in Temecula in the summer of 2005. New branches were added at Temecula and Yucca Valley.

Biography: David L. Davis

Education:
BS in Accounting from San Diego State University. BA in Education from
Wichita State University.
Employment Experience:
Mr. Davis started his service with credit unions in 1979 at Rohr Federal Credit Union as an accountant, at the time utilizing a manual bookkeeping system. He advanced to Vice President Administration, which involved overseeing accounting, data processing and collections. He came to Pacific Marine Credit Union (then Marine Corps West FCU) in June of 1989 as Controller. He moved to the positions of VP Finance and Executive Vice President, which included accounting, item processing, and facilities, and supervision of the executive staff. In April 2001 he graduated from CUES CEO Institute, and he assumed the role of President/CEO effective April 1, 2004.
Accomplishments:
Served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Constellation. In August 2004, he was elected to a 3-year term as the Marine Corps representative to the Defense Credit Union Council Board of Directors, currently serving as its Treasurer
