Her career within the credit union movement began in Oklahoma City and spans twenty-eight years. For the past seventeen years, Cunningham has been a credit union CEO. She has emerged as a leader and expert in the industry and is a frequent speaker and lecturer for CUES, CMG, and other credit union organizations. In addition, she is an instructor at CUNA Management School in Madison , Wisconsin , and conducts board/CEO retreats for credit unions throughout the country.
Cunningham attended Central State University in Edmund , Oklahoma , and is a Certified Credit Union Executive, a credit union Development Educator, a member of the National Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors, A Filene Research Council Member, and a member of the CUES National Board of Directors. Cunningham's husband, Robert, is also employed in the credit union movement. They have two daughters, Sara and Alisha.
As President and CEO for USA Federal Credit Union, Cunningham will lead the organization in its mission of providing members with a safe place to earn higher dividends on their savings, while at the same time offering low-interest loans.
